A Walk In The Park !
Solo golfing at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Escondido, CA
Let’s face it ladies, where can you walk alone in a beautiful manicured setting that’s safe now-a-days? Learning to play golf may open up a new world of safe exploration for you as it has for me. You can turn your “walk in the park” into a social time, chatting with those paired with you, or just cordially introduce yourself then simply kick back and take in all the serenity a golf course has to offer.
You’ll find choosing a picturesque course is the key. The perfectly manicured greens, the trees, waterways, hills and views are unbelievable. It’s easy to find a course that will allow a last minute decision to play when you are a single golfer. As a “walk-on” you will be paired with up to 3 other players. Request your own golf cart. . In order to enjoy your “walk in the park” you must be able to play golf well enough to keep the ball moving forward. No one really cares about how well you do. Most golfers are self-immersed in their own game. So never spend time looking for lost balls nor bring attention to your playing. Simply hit the ball. If you find yourself playing with scratch golfers (scratch golfers are those who should be on the golf channel) as this happens frequently, you may take three swings to their one....but as long as you keep moving you’ll fit right in. And when you get to the green, it becomes an even playing field!
The serenity of this majestic piece of piece real estate is all yours to enjoy. Why even the players you have joined simply fade into your picturesque landscape. So go for it! Then write a story to share with us.
