“Twenty Six Miles Across The Sea”... Amazing how close you can go and yet feel so very, very far away. That’s what an island is all about. Traveling as I have to New Zealand solo, was pretty adventurous. That of being so far away and with no itinerary was gutsy for someone my age, but Catalina is close. I’ve been there before and loved it, but always with someone. How would I fare going it alone?
